The Trade Council of Denmark in Central and Eastern Europe (TC CEE) is looking for a dedicated and dynamic student research assistant. The assistant will be positioned in Prague and responsible for assisting the Trade Council with their activities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as well as participate in regional projects in CEE.
Your primary responsibility as a student research assistant will be to support commercial advisers in The Trade Council in Prague in their projects and work with them to successfully manage respective projects. The tasks of the position would include:
In the position you will be working closely with TC CEE’s current commercial advisers in Prague and are expected to also collaborate on projects with regional reach. Some travel activity is expected.

Employment conditions
You will be hired at The Trade Council in the Czech Republic as a local employee and be part of the embassy staff reporting directly to the Head of Trade in Prague. You will be employed with a temporary contract for 1 year with a possibility of extension, depending on performance. Working hours count 20 hours a week, which could be scheduled flexibly Monday to Friday to fit the needs and requirements of your studies. Salary according to qualifications within a public organisation and possibility of bonus for performance. Five weeks of paid annual leave and a flexible Danish working scheme. The job might require some traveling, especially, but not necessarily only, within the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Expected start
We expect you to start 1 August or 1 September 2024, or soon thereafter. If a quicker start is possible, we are open to discuss this. Employment with the Embassy requires security clearance by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service.
