Welcome to Maple Bear! 🍁 We are a bilingual school that combines Canadian educational standards with the Czech school system. We provide children with a joyful and stimulating environment full of discovery, cooperation, and inspiration.
In 2024, we opened the Maple Bear school in Olomouc and are looking for new teachers to be part of our growing community. We are looking for passionate and courageous educators who not only want to guide children on their journey of discovery but also want to continually develop themselves.

What can you expect?

• You will take care of kindergarten children aged 3-6 years old. You will focus on the development of all areas (social and emotional development, langugage skills, motor skills, cognitive development, arts and creativity etc.)
• Each class has a maximum of 20 children, and the team consists of two teachers who collaborate in all activities. Each day begins with a morning circle time, where children share experiences, practice the calendar, and prepare for the day. This is followed by free play and activities that support their natural curiosity.
• Activity blocks take place both in groups and individually, with children engaging in developmental activities based on both the Czech and Canadian curricula. Between activities, there is time for snacks, outdoor play, and lunch, and relax.
• You will work in tandem with a colleague – this means mutual collaboration and contribution.

What do we expect from you?

✔ English at a C1 level, which you will use daily in communication with colleagues and children.
✔ A willingness to try new things and continually develop yourself.

✔ Willingness to engage in school events and help create a community atmosphere.
